Chris Holmes Flap failure during flight. Descend to FL150 200kts ACARS did not record the speed. Had to simulate failure earlier than what briefing stated due to it being such a short flight. Left flaps in no 2 config after landing for technical crew to look at. Passengers are pretty freaked out. ACARS went a little nuts with the recording... Think the tech crew should look at that too (I think I might have descended too early for finals as I lost my T/D marker. At least passengers are safe and we did not fly into any mountains)
Dieter Magnet Well done on staying clear of the mountains. I reckon you were about 70nm to early for descent but no other issues.
Chris Holmes I reckon that too. I did apologise for the inconvenience to the passengers but received lot of thanks to SAAV for the high end training we receive
