Ian Carine Hello Snr Flt Capt Deon. Sorry but this approach to FACT is not good enough. Refer to comments made by Dieter on 28/4. From the route view, you appear to have made no attempt to fly a proper approach to either runway but simply overflown the FACT VOR at cruise level and then carried out 3/4/5/... descending orbits of the VOR before making an approach. FSX ATC would never have done this. If you knew you would be "away from the cockpit" why not use the smartCARS "pause at TOD" feature?? I use it all the time and prevents this event. Also, simply entering the departure/arrival airport in the route window does not constitute a "route". What were the en-route waypoints? You do not appear to have any. If I occasionally need help with a flight plan I use http://onlineflightplanner.org/ to generate one. It easily made a FSX flight plan for this route with 7 waypoints. Suggest you give it a try.
