Deon Schlebusch I could not see the runway due to heavy clouds on final, I had to go around and with the touch down there was a cross wind that lifted the airplane and that cause the aircraft to bounce.
Ian Harrison Captain, I am not too worried by the bounce but according to SmartCars satellite view, you missed the runway completely.
Deon Schlebusch Hi Ian, I see what you mean on the SmartCars satellite. I can assure you I definitely did land on the runway. I wonder why is my maps and the SmartCars maps so different, this is not the first time I notice this.
Ian Harrison OK. Just a point to remember. If your original approach was aborted, you would normally expect to land on the same runway, not from the opposite direction.
